Integration Strategy for new additions
The following is a brief description of the integration process
Step 1. Audition
- A collection point for aspiring members wanting to be a part of the worship/music ministry.
- Used to determine a preliminary skill level.
- Participants are asked to perform pre-determined songs as a solo, as well as pre-determined songs as part of team.
Step 2. Interview
- One on one interview with the worship director to build relationships, encourage the prospective worshiper in his/her abilities.
- Worship director makes recommendations as to next steps for the worshiper in the process.
- Worship director finds out about experiences, maturity level, character, beliefs, and relational aspects of prospective worshiper.
Step 3. Integration
- Worshiper begins attending practices with the worship team for a minimum of six practices.
- Attendance to practices and punctuality will show a level of commitment.
- Worshiper gets exposed to the team dynamics, and the culture of the worship ministry.
- During the integration period, the worshiper meets with the worship director once a week to go through the foundations of worship study together.
- At the end of the integration period, another interview is scheduled with the worship director at which time honest feedback is given to the new team member.
